I bought a Vera Wang dress and jacket from the boutique Goodwill in Winter Park which I wore for DS wedding!
Never been into generic thrift stores, they maybe a different matter altogether.
I never said they were all Goodwill shops. The only one of those I have been to was near the Florida Mall. Clothes weren't too bad (I only looked at kids but no designer labels in sight) but the housewares had definitely seen better days. A box file I looked at for storing paper work was coated in dust. I have also been in a local charity one near Orange Lake on 192 (over priced and shabby) and a church one just east of Celebration. That one had some great new sports clothes from buying out a pro shop but some absolutely shocking rubbish as well. Stained sofas, used leg braces, grubby shower stools, battered frying pans or old tins of paint anyone?

There are obviously better ones around but it is a bit hit and miss to find them on holiday. We are in Melbourne this weekend for my daughter to have some special physio and managed to stumble across a much nicer one by chance between appointments.

We go to Goodwill near Kissimmee, it's beside staples. My younger daughter got about 12 items all abercrombie, pink and hollister. A mix of jeans tshirts and sweat tops for a few dollars each. They were all as new and xs. I would say she was lucky and someone her size and taste did a clear out. It's hit and miss. She commented that the older pink clothes were much better quality than the newer ones. It's a fun couple of hours
