Community recommendations?

I'm looking for a villa for my mum and stepdad, as they are hoping to take their grandchildren to Orlando in October.

I'm thinking a villa community with a large communal pool, preferably with some activities such as slides; a bit like Regal Palms but they want a villa with a private pool.

Any recommendations?

We've really enjoyed staying at Highgrove multiple times and would have no hesitation in recommending.

Regal Palms would be perfect in terms of the water park facilities, but they want a private pool too, so RP is out unfortunately.

Haven�t been yet, but we are trying newly built Storey Lake in May - villas & condos with private pools and lazy river , slides and canoeing on the lake

What about Windsor Hills? Well kept, gated and manned community with gym, club house, etc and apparently that have just spent quite a bit of money upgrading communal pool area with water slides. Plenty of villas available with private pools. Also very close to the parks, restaurants and a new walmart has just opened up the road.

That's true, two dualling water slides, a fabulous splash zone for younger children and a new, larger hot tub are currently being installed. Fingers crossed will be in time for Easter this year. The new Walmart is minutes away so lots going on round there

We have stayed at Windsor Palms several times and highly recommend it. Really nice, gated- for our dates/villa size etc it was a little cheaper then Windsor Hills (across the road)

We are owners with private pool rather than community.pros and cons for both. My pros being you just step outside and there is the pool. No need to pack up your stuff to head down to pool only to realise little on forgot their drink or goggles and have to go back.

its personal choice but no-one sees my bed head on a morning swim when its private

Sorry - only just seen this. We booked through HomeAway but also saw it through Airbnb
