FQ is so small it doesnt really matter, but building 5 is the best location. Garden view will also be next to the nightly movie

We got updated to Garden Room in block 2 last August - it was ground floor so we were concerned with noise of passers by etc. Wasnt an issue though as the resort is so quiet. Everything was within 5 mins walk so no issues wherever you are.

I personally wouldn't pay the extra for a garden view as the only time you'll have the view is when you are walking along the walkway outside your room.

The resort is really small so there aren't really any bad locations. We were in building 4 last year which I would request again as it was close to the lobby/pool and had a quick back way to the bus stops.

We had a standard room and tbh I wouldn't pay for a view. I think all the rooms have walkways (correct me if i'm wrong) so it's not like you really sit looking out of the window as people are walking past to get to their rooms.

It's such a gorgeous resort, i'm really hoping to stay again next year!

Completely agree - wouldn't pay extra. Out of 10 stays we have had a garden view seven times without paying for it.

Of course the OP may not have deliberately chosen to pay extra for garden view at POFQ, it may have been the only available room when they booked (as it was ours!)

Last year we were downgraded from pool view to garden view. We had ground floor corner room opposite laundry room and pool bar. Great location and got nearly $700 back to spend.
