Absolutely if you are doing Busch Gardens and discovery cove, can only be used of a harness in Disney and only on open water slides at Disney, couldn't be used at all in universal, my sons go pro videos from discovery cove 3 weeks ago are fantastic especially the sea venture one !

I've used a Campark copy of a go pro on a floaty stick ok every ride I've been on in Disney the last two weeks and in the waterparks and hotel pools

It's been great, can't wait to see the video fully on the tv!

I've used my GoPro on Disney rides hand-held, on a fixed small 'floaty' pole (the extendable poles are not allowed in Disney the same as selfie sticks) and also a wrist strap - don't have any harnesses.

I've also used it on all of the water rides at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

Unless they've changed their rules since last year?

Why do people do this? Why not just enjoy the ride in itself?

This was last week and the week before when they said harness only but who knows ! At Typhoon lagoon one life guard said yes another said no to it all together so they are not all singing from the same hymn sheet !

Like most people we're going for 2 weeks so will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the ride, and capture it to relive when we get back. Why enter into a conversation of you don't have anything meaningful to add?!
