Undecided
I'm really undecided whether to get a GoPro-style camera for our upcoming trip to West Coast USA.
I'll be taking my DSLR so I'll have that on my all the time, I just don't know how much usage I would get out of the 'video' camera. I really like the idea of them, I just don't know how much it would get used

What DSLR do you have, does it not have a video mode? If so, because of the lens it will likely give better results.

It does but I find it really awkward to use the screen while holding a big lens, plus a dedicated small video camera can be attached to things (poles, harness etc). I just don't know what I'd use it for, but I like the idea of them
