Relaxing At (mostly) Universal - Day 5, RPR and IoA

Moved to the Royal Pacific Resort today, our room is in tower 3, very handy for the pool and water taxi. Our room wasn't ready so we headed of to Islands of Adventure.

Loving the water taxi - have dodgy knees (losing most of the cartilage) so the boat lets me save them for walking round the parks.

Started with Spiderman then the boys went on the Hulk, first time since it was refurbished. As usual for such rides, I was the Official Bag Holder. Then another Spider-Man before Dr Doom.

Went on Kong Skull Island - a new ride for us, wouldn't have queued 45 mins for it. Boys got soaked on Jurassic River ride before we enjoyed the aircon in the Discovery Centre.

By this time we were quite hot and tired as we'd only come into the parks around noon, so we headed back to the hotel to see if our room was ready. By the time we'd unpacked and showered we ended up having supper at Jake's in the hotel.

I can't wait to try the new Hulk, it was closed for refurb the last time we were there.

DH and DS really enjoyed the refurbished Hulk, it was also down last time we were here.
