Annoying Adverts

Just curious does anyone else have a genuine hatred for specific TV adverts? 😂

I have two at the minute, The Nationwide ones which appeared before Christmas and have carried on into the new year with the two singing sisters.

And the Go Compare advert with the “monster bill” and even worse than usual acting! 🙄

I know I’m not the only one who gets annoyed with adverts so feel free to vent below 😆

No you are not alone, I get annoyed with some too. Years ago there was a series of Maryland Cookie adverts depicting a really dweeby, thick family - thick rim glasses, greasy hair. I hated it so much i have never eaten a Maryland cookie since - so I guess as advertising goes it was a bit of a fail in my case

My DS was just moaning about the Nationwide ad, and I hate all the Go Compare adverts. So we are with you

Yes I hate those two in the Nationwide advert, didn't mind the Christmas one so much but hate the two new ones.

Also can't stand the TUI advert with the woman singing "Ain't Nobody."

Yeah I’m the same didn’t mind the Christmas one because it was a novelty but the other ones are just irritating!

Sam7, I purposely never use go compare because of the rotating adverts too!

I love the nationwide advert, it's probably the only advert I'll watch, any other I usually fast forward or don't concentrate on them.

Probably just me and it’s because I’ve got a phobia of it but the booking.com (I think) where you can see and hear the man being sick by the side of the road. It always seems to be on at lunchtime and around dinner time too. That’s an annoying advert to me anyway!

I have a colleague at work who sings the Go Compare song all the time. All the time.
