Labor Day Sales

What are your opinions on the best places to shop at Labor Day Sales. Do the Malls away from the Outlets have better bargains or should we just head for the Outlets. Thanks.

Much the same as at any other time. The main difference is that it is a holiday weekend, so everywhere will just be a little bit busier, as they will be off work.
There are 60 million visitors to Orlando every week, that's a million different potential customers every week for the stores to lure away from the parks with their sales and special offers. In between holidays they have to invent names like 'Friends and Family Sale', which doesn't sound as good as 'Labor Day Sale'. The name itself helps to attract customers as they think it is something special. The tactic works - it has got you interested! Visitors are not there in other weeks to be able to track whether prices are really changing. If anything, they need lower prices in the other weeks to compensate for the lack of an appealing name.
Look at the JCPenney web site occasionally, as an example, or Macys - you'll find they have sales/promotions this week and every week.
Don't get too excited or hung up - you can only shop during the short time you are there - it is just less hassle if you can avoid the crowds.

I always go around labor day sales, this year we visited florida mall and was disappointed nothing really there as a good sale, however went to both outlets and got some good deals, we found that the day after labour day the 'special sales' they had for that day were gone and prices went up a bit.

i really liked adidas labor day sales as they half the half price stickers, i got a tracksuit, t-shirt and sliders for $30 last labor day x
