It must be around the Orlando area as you can clearly see I used it in November so it’s not a blanket ban for all Target stores. Thank goodness as it’s one of my favourite stores

We were in the UK and somehow someone used our cards in 3 different targets in the LA area (1) our cards were in our holiday purse in the UK with us (2) we had bern in Orlando 6 months earlier and nowhere near California! (3) it happened around 2 weeks after we topped up our cards for going back to Orlando!. Fairfx were fantastic at sorting it all out right enough and made sure the money was back on our account within a couple of weeks of their investigation starting.

We had this last year and discovered Fairfx block target. Absolutely fine with that as obviously want our money safe but I do think Fairfx should advise you of any places you won’t be able to use your card. When it happened to us it was a bank holiday weekend in the UK so we couldn’t contact anyone.
Luckily we had a credit card with us and as we were staying onsite we didn’t have to worry about anything straight away but we were really stressed as we thought maybe our card had been cloned and our money gone.

Happened to us in target last year. I went into a panic thinking there was a problem with my card. I contacted fairfx who gave me the message they have given on the previous page. I agree it would have been nice to have been told this prior to trying to use it.

Target have a lot of problems with security, they were still feeling the fallout from their 2013/14 breach as late as May last year and companies like FairFx who aren't covered by banking protections err on the side of the caution.
