pictures/photos... out of interest question?

Do you rely on photo pass, take your own camera or use the camera on your mobile phone?

In the past I have taken a separate camera, this year as part of my 'travelling light' I am using photo pass and mobile only. No fancy/bulky camera for me.

I have just used my phone for the last 3 trips...so much easier than lug a camera about.

Always take a decent compact camera - I don't seem to be able to get good quality pics on my phone.

The photopass photos are ok and good for group photos of the whole family and those with added characters are a nice touch, but depending on the photographer can sometimes be disappointing if they chop your feet off etc. So I always take my DSLR and extra lens (if doing a safari) and take plenty of photos.

Taking photos is not for everyone but I personally really enjoy it, have captured some amazing memories and get some great shots of the parades/fireworks as well

I wouldn't let taking photos stop me enjoying my trip.

I like to take my big camera but I think most people are more than happy with their mobiles.

We always take our cameras but never use them.

I seem to take more photos on my iPhone because photopass photographers always had a long queue last time we were there and when we did queue for them they were no better than the photos from my iPhone.

I think it depends on your situation. I find that while I would love to bring a big camera to the parks with me it’s just more convenient to get out my mobile for photos. However if I didn’t have the children with me I would love to take my time and get some beautiful shots.

We usually just use photopass and the phones on our cameras but we've just purchased a canon 7gx mark 2 so we can film parts of our trip and to hopefully take more photos- we'll see how that goes!

We just used our phone cameras and the photo pass on our last visit. We did bring the go pro but it is bulky to carry and I like to go to the parks with no bags.
