Last day water park plan

We check out of our villa at 10am and use DS check-in with Virgin (prior to 10am), then have until 15:30 to while away.

After a nice restaurant breakfast I was planning on spending the day in a Water Park, probably Aquatica as you can prebook cabanas. My thinking being if we have a cabana there isn't the rush to get there for opening and bagging sunbeds (it's a Saturday at Easter, 7th April).

This isn't quite going to plan as now the cabana prices are out I've realised they start from $159, which is a little more than I expected, so need to re-evaluate.

Plus you'll have lots of wet swim gear / towels! We did Epcot last year, nice slow paced park. Otherwise we end up shopping and / Disney Springs (Disney Quest was a fav)

We usually go off and do crazy golf at Disney. I think the last thing I would want to do is a water park a few hours before flying.
What time is your flight?

We never seem to have much time, checkout breakfast and before we know it driving to Sanford for our check in
I think Thomson flights must be earlier than most peoples
I’d like a last minute laze around Aquatica but wet stuff to take home not ideal
If anything we end up at a mall for more shopping

I wouldn't pay that much for such a short time in the cabana - if the flight was later maybe. I have done pools often before a flight - usually beach holidays. Its easy to wring out wet swimwear and put it in a ziplock bag then pop in the top of a case.
For our Florida holidays we usually end up at Disney Springs spending the last of our dollars, last time did a walmart shop too and a game of crazy golf

I wouldn’t do it personally, I find water parks exhausting! All the sun and the swimming wipes me out, I fell asleep on the bus stop bench outside blizzard beach last year waiting for our bus! I think I’d go for something more relaxing like a stroll around Disney Springs or a visit to one of the quieter parks.

I'm fine with the wet swim gear, no towels as we'd used Aquaticas, as Sam says ziploc bags.
We liked the idea of showering and changing in to UK clothes, and being a little tired before the flight would be a bonus.
Don't fancy walking around in the heat without getting showered and changing, same with suncreams.
Our flights 18:30, so not too late, and we've checked in at DS. Aiming to get to the airport 15:30-16:00, so leaving wherever we are at 15:00.
That gives us 4 hours to enjoy.

You could always ask for a late checkout for your villa or pay for extra day so you can spend the last few hours in your own pool, use the washing machine/dryer etc. That is what we do.

I think it sounds like a great idea. getting showered before getting on a plane and feeling a bit tired from a day in the florida sunshine is perfect.

plus, you can take a waterpark at your own pace...sun loungers and lazy river etc or ram in as many rides as you can...whatever your personal preference.

i wouldnt let a wet swimming costume in a placcy bag put you off making the most of your last day
