Soarin' before breakfast ADR
Hi,
Would it be possible to arrive at Epcot for park opening and head straight to Soarin' (without a FP), and still make a 0915 breakfast reservation at Garden Grill? There are currently no earlier ADRs, unless I book for 5 people (although I keep looking!) The alternative could be to go straight to breakfast, book a Soarin' FP for 1000-1100hrs ish, and then use Single Rider afterwards on Test Track. Thanks. |

I assume Epcot opens at 9 on that day? I think that's pushing it tbh, it'll take 5 mins to get to the ride and that's rushing. If it opens at 8 then plenty of time!
Can you push the breakfast back by 30 mins? Otherwise I would with your second plan and book Soarin ride for straight after breakfast. |

With a 9am opening definitely not. I would try and change the ADR to later as suggested.

Yes it is currently scheduled to be a 9am opening that day. No other ADR times are currently available but I'll keep looking, and not try to make Soarin' first. I had heard that sometimes the park opens early, hence the possibility of visiting it first.

The problem with Soarin’ is that even a short wait time can take a while. I’ve never walked on Soarin’ even when the park was empty as you’ve always got the pre flight video and we always seem to have just missed a show.

I think it’s very doable tbh
If you head there as soon as the rope drops, I think you could very well be in and out in 10-15 minutes Being 5-10 mins late for your ADR, whilst not ideal, won’t be a problem Most people head to Frozen or Test Track at rope drop so it should be walk on

Just checked my notes from ladt Aug. I did ropedrop, holding us at Spaceship Earth, right side. I walked quickly and got on Soarin at 9.06am and out at 9.15am. So it's possible if you're through security really early so you're right at the front. Also depends where your Adr is. Good luck!

Thanks all, ADR is at Garden Grill (close to Soarin’). 0925 has also now appeared so I might move to that and still keep looking for 0800 ish in case it comes up.

Agree.
I know of people who have been hours late (unforeseen circumstances) for an ADR & it wasn't a problem. With an ADR, they do not hold a table waiting for you. When you check in with the desk, you are just given the next available table for your party size.
