We've done over the years - Margaritaville, The Sports Bar, Bubba Gump and a couple of the Character Meals too. Must say, we loved the atmosphere and we nailed the quiz at Bubbas but we weren't that impressed with the food. This time we plan to try Toothsome.

Love the atmosphere, food and of course cocktails 😉 at margaritaville. My husband asked me yesterday, what I was most looking forward to, going back this year and I think I would have to say margaritaville, or people watching while sipping cocktails at the lone palm airport😀

We love Bubba Gumps - get a Landry card if you decide to try here

Bubba Gumps with our Landry's Card! Margaritaville too, but only if we get the Cinema deal - we also really like the Whopper Bar and Panda Express if we're feeling too tired to enjoy a proper meal.

Hotel restaurants - try the ones in Sapphire Falls...the poolside restaurants/bars in SF and Hard Rock are amazing too and you can pool hop if you're staying onsite
xx

Thanks for replies. We have eaten at bubba gump once before but it has got to have been our first or second visit so 2004 or 2006 I reckon. From memory it was all fried which I'm not keen on, I like something fresh. Possibly chose the wrong thing though. We've also eaten at Margaritaville once and weren't that impressed. Maybe an off night. We do like HRCafe so may eat there again.

Glad Cowfish is not just sushi. I'm not a sushi lover Need to look into this Landry card, no idea about it but if it's a decent discount then that's good.

We've had one meal at NBC (is that the one on the same side as hard rock cafe?). It was v good. We ate the night of the opening ceremony of the London olympics. That was also the year Andy Murray won at the Olympics as we watched the game whilst packing to leave for the airport.

The juries out about the chocolate place. We are not sweet tooths and it sounds super sickly. As it's only myself and DH going this time we are strictly steering clear of character meals. DH said that would be too awkward for him We did have a lovely meal at Mythos restaurant last time. Good atmosphere and good food.

Will look into Vivo and the onsite hotels also I think.

We would thoroughly recommend NBC Grill. Menu is brilliant and we've always had a great meal there. Bubba Gumps is ok.

NBC Grill was not open in 2012. I think you may be thinking of NBA which was the basketball themed restaurant next to the Hard Rock where Toothsome is now located.

NBC Grill is where the old Nascar place was if you remember that (just before the bridge where the US globe is).

It only opened in 2015 & is great. I would 100% recommend eating there.

NBC was really good we went three times during our last stay (NBA is where toothsome is now) - they are the other side of the pond/lake thingy

If you have a car or probably a reasonable Uber fare away I’d recommending getting off site one night and trying Teak Orlando - great place!
