Ten more for Tuesday
* the closet-maid racks in the walk in wardrobes
* the red Target balls
* red cardinals
* cranes on Dollar tree car park - love how they tuck under the shop fronts in the driving rain
* when you go under a bridge in a thunderstorm and the rain stops for a second
* chunky glasses for ice cold drinks
* weather on the 1s
* feels wrong to include this but when there at the start of hurricane season and they name the hurricanes - feels tropical
* seeing palm trees swaying from the living room
* Steak n shake - 2 meals and 2 milkshakes - happy hour $12.12

the smell of the money

The smell and heat as you leave the airport
The sound of the birds in the early morning on the first day.
Watching that first sunrise
"Singing" frogs at night where we stay.
The smell of the toilets in Disney (sorry, there's a cleaning chemical or soap they use you don't remember until you get there )
Melon Frosty in Club cool
Air conditioned seats in the car
The beep of the car as you lock it.
Cinnabon and cinnamon in everything.
And the red target balls
So many..

Waking up before everyone else and having a cuppa by the pool in the warm sunshine listening to the morning birdsong.
First trip to Walmart! Sad, I know but I love it!

Excellent thread
Most of mine will already be here.
The 9 hour flight isn't brilliant, but, 4.5 hours into it knowing you are now closer to your happy place than home
As the plane descends on its approach to MCO and seeing all the homes with pools, all the lakes etc and seeing all the smiles of everyone around you.
The 1st step off the plane and getting that whiff of warm air and knowing 'we're home'.
Getting on the train at the hub heading to the main terminal...I think it's only about 45 seconds journey but we love this.
Across the street to Alamo and feeling the heat...wonderful.
Quick trip to Publix for 1st night essentials and then onto the villa to chill out by the pool to enjoy a Florida sunset...and listening to the crickets
Up early to Walmart for main shop, back to the villa for breakfast and then head to Celebration for a gentle stroll around the lake.
When eating out we really enjoy hash browns, potato skins, quesadillas that are SO much better than here.

Walmart Wednesday

* getting rid of change into a self service till towards the end of the holiday
* Hawaiian punch
* the huge trucks and trailers at the back of the car park
* the Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck displays made out of multipacks of Coke/Sprite (may only be one by 192/27)
* if a member of your family is annoying you, you can get away from them and they won't find you for ages
* the 'Movie Candy' aisle - only in America!
* the other shops that are in there
* the swivelly things that mean you don't need to pack your own shopping

Who'd have thought there was so much to love about Walmart!

Too many to mention but here are a few of mine:

The heat when you step off the plane onto the airbridge
When you get through Immigration (that's more relief )
Getting to the first theme park
Buying far too much make up in Walgreens
Smell of US dollars
The 'feel' of it all
