Gatwick Premier Inn Prices Jumped for our Dates

Prices seem to have leapt up for our dates today (£10pr on North terminal but over £30pr on some of the others when they’ve always been substantially lower than the North terminal). I wondered if it might be a precursor to an offer or something, using a bit of reverse psychology to make any discount look unmissable. Could be wishful thinking I know, but last email I had was offers up to June, so maybe July’s in the offing,

We are the same. I booked the flexi rate months ago, 2 rooms £134 total expecting the saver rate to be much cheaper once we hit January but it's £42 more now for flex than I paid and £162 for the saver rate. This is for 29th June at PI north terminal.

I booked it at flexi rate £69! It’s now £79 flexi rate...still hoping that it will come down...also Premier Inn North Terminal... June 10th.

Places do do that . There may very well be a sale coming up.

But they also tend to have blocks of rooms at a particular price. They may have had 100 rooms they wanted to sell for £50 per night. Once they all sell they will put the price up to £60 per night for the next 100 rooms, etc.

It's really hard to judge for hotels which one they are doing :/

Do any of your guys use the stay park fly option at premier? We have done this in the past, but this year we are away for 16 nights which is longer than the offer is valid for as it says up to 15 nights... anyone got experience of s longer stay? Will, it matter? I can't find anywhere on the website to enter the exact dates as I do on holiday extras.
