Virgin holidays & linking tickets on MDE
Hi all
I've got a trip booked through Virgin Holidays, staying on site at Disney and my 60 day fast pass window is coming up this weekend. I have the trip linked on My Disney Experience, and it shows both guests with 14 day tickets and hotel reservation. Do I need to do anything else before Sunday to be able to book fastpasses? When I went into that section, it told me guests need park tickets and to either buy or link them. I seem to remember from last time that I need a different reference for the tickets - should I be chasing this up ahead of the weekend, or hope it automatically works once I'm actually at 60 days? many thanks in advance! No, as you've booked a package and it's all showing, then you don't need to do anything else. As it's a package, MDE knows when you check in and those tickets are linked to that date, so that's why it won't let you look at fastpass booking yet. It's basically saying, if you're planning to visit before you check in, then you need to add another set of tickets please. If you're off-site or have booked on-site accommodation and park tickets separately (so not a package), then you can look whenever you want for the he following 30 days as those tickets aren't connected to a check in date like package tickets are. I hope that makes sense?

Ok great thank you, yes I thought it might just "know" it wasn't 60 days for me yet. I think last time we booked tickets direct through Disney, and everything else through Virgin, so that makes sense why it's different.
Great that I don't need to worry, and can instead plan out the FP+s to book! thanks for your speedy reply |
