You will need a dual 110/220V hairdryer for use in US

I have taken my own previously, but when using it with an adapter and due to the voltage difference it has always been rubbish.
In 2017 I decided not to take one with me and use the hotels and it was so much better. Will be using the hotels from now on

Every place I’ve stayed in has a hairdryer in... more room in my luggage for shopping. 😉

I take my straighteners but never take a hairdryer, every hotel I've stayed in has dryers, not as good as the one I use at home but for a couple of weeks the one there is fine even if it does take a bit longer. Plus my hairdryer is quite heavy

I struggled with the hairdryers in a couple of the hotels (the one in the Hard Rock Hotel weighs a ton!) and found a hotel that didn't supply them so I ended up buying one in Walmart a couple of years ago. Cost me less that $10 dollars, is light and powerful and has just done its 3rd trip! I take my own straighteners though.
