Matt987106 is referring to 'stand by', not the dessert party. If you get to the 'white line' (that they make the walkway with) 60 minutes before the fireworks, then you can move into that area once the dessert party guests have walked through to the dessert party viewing area. It is not a free for all at the dessert party viewing area, that area is still taped off for the duration of the show and no one encroached on that area that shouldn't have been there.

Hope this explains it.

7 hours of star wars
omg-don't get me wrong, I like star wars too and my DS just loves it
BUT
getting thirsty thinking about all that movement and standing around in the summer heat.
Think i'll head for the pool and leave DS to do the tour. I can relax with a few cocktails whilst he's seeing his favourite characters yeah! great idea.
Both happy!

Hello All, forgive my ignorance but we have not been to HS for 2 years but we are returning in early April. Does the Star Wars fireworks show not take place in April as there are no times showing whatsoever on Disney website for 3rd to 15th.

Please forgive my ignorance too but we go in October and have the DDP... therefore what you pay for within the Star Wars 7 hour tour the majority I can get through DDP? ... Eg lunch at backlot express, dessert party etc. So what would I b getting for my extra $121 each? Or can I book each bit separately?
