New Park Reservations From Tomorrow

Hiya,

I was wondering if anyone had received any emails from Disney with regards to making park reservations from tomorrow?

We have gold dvc annual passes linked to our MDE account which we haven't activated yet and we have DVC accommodation booked for the start of December and April/May.

I know being internationals we don't get the AP emails so I was wondering if there's anything we need to do or know?

Do you know what time it all starts tomorrow please?
Do we just go onto MDE?

Guess we need to throw a quick itinerary together

Thanks.

None. I’ll be looking tomorrow if it doesn’t crash.

I have same dates booked as you as well (just pre Xmas us and Easter)

It's 7am EST so I think that's 12 noon in the UK.

They announced last week that through til Sept 2021 you will need a park reservation to enter the park and it's going to be 1 park a day.

You will need a valid park pass to make the reservations though.
Here's the info. I hope it helps.

We have DVC booked for 2 weeks in Oct/Nov and 2 weeks in May. AP expires in Dec.

If I can't reserve my park days for May today then that booking is going up for rent and we'll go to California instead.

2point we’re in a similar position to you. We now (revised plan number 243!) have an offsite stay booked in October this year, and an onsite stay booked using DVC next Easter. We have Gold APs which (now) don’t expire until early December 2020. We’d hoped to upgrade our Gold passes to Platinum Plus at renewal, so they’d cover the Easter trip planned for 2021. Can’t buy or renew APs at the moment, and anyway we’re outside the 60 day timeframe anyway.
I’m guessing that the park reservation system won’t let us make selections for Easter 2021 as our AP a) is blocked out then, and b) will have expired, BUT c) I can’t currently upgrade it anyway. Besides if the world and their dog can make park reservations starting from today I don’t think there's any chance of availability still being around for Easter 2021 by the time I can renew the passes, so I guess we’ll be staying onsite at Disney but going to Universal next Easter. Well done Disney (NOT &#129324! Imho a 60 day from your stay booking window would have been much more sensible, and way less IT system breakable.
