Virgin economy classic hand luggage allowance?

I wanted to take a normal sized 30l backpack and a small other backpack into the cabin.
The larger bag into the overhead locker and the smaller bag by my seat.

Is this acceptable?

You can take a trolley case/bag ( up to 10kg) as long as it’s n the dimensions given and a small rucksack/handbag in so I can’t see why not.

My husband bought a light sabre home on Thursday! That certainly wasn’t in the measurements for hand luggage but no one batted an eyelid.
I’d think(although don’t quote me) that as long as you don’t take the mick you’ll be fine

You can basically take a cabin bag and a hand bag. I frequently use a small personal back pack as a hand bag equivalent. It has never been queried. I do measure and carry on cases to they comply.

I've always carried a cabin case and a large handbag and never been a problem, I even had a 3rd bag last week which contained a box that wouldn't fit in my main case and no one said anything
