Today’s questions... non political please

Going forward, in addition to a passport, visa (esta) etc would you be prepared to have and use a “health” passport to enable travel ? Something that would indicate your overall health , what injections , tests, you have had etc etc

Secondly,

... I’ll have a “P” please Bob ... yes or no?

I for one certainly would. I'm also going to stop reading all the negative news on every media source such as "over 70s won't be able to leave home for ten years" or something like that.

I fully appreciate the need for some sort of self-distancing in the near future and happy to wear a mask on the plane but I don't want to spend the "autumn" of my life locked away.

Mick

Absoloutely would be happy to have a health passport. Agree with Mick too I'm not over 70 but over 60 I still have a lot of living to do and don't want to do that in the house there's some suggestion today that over 50s don't go out!

Gut reaction to a health passport is no. I feel it could be yet another cause for discrimination, identity theft, forgery, loss of freedom etc... But that's just a gut reaction.

Never seen it.

For some reason an urban myth prevailed for years that Bob Holness played sax on Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street.

Mick

PS My quiz for the day Who did play sax?

I know 😉. (It’s one of my top 10 songs)

No to a health passport but would love a health card for travel insurance, instead of spending wasted hours with insurance companies getting quotes it would be so much easier if there was a point system where we have our own health points from our GP, quotes are on the points not the long list of questions we have to answer, GP can decide how healthy we are not a questionnaire. if you visit your dr for anything he decides weather to raise the points or even lower them, you then let your insurer know of a change in points.
Sorry for the long winded answer .
Blockbuster -yes and I liked the theme tune 😊

No to a health passport - people's needs are so diverse it wouldn't effectively cover everyone adequately. Suitable insurance policy and I'm good to go. (We have no health issues)

Countdown - remember watching from the first episode, a welcome change away from the stuffy University Challenge.

Linda

Having had to pay over £800 for the past three years for annual travel insurance I dread to think what next month's renewal premium might be. One more reason that we've ditched the thoughts of adding another Caribbean cruise next spring.

After singing the praises of Staysure on here for a couple of years lets see if they earn their 5 star Defacto rating paying out a smallish claim. So far not impressed

Mick
