I bought my Mum some puzzle books and cherry brandy liqueurs for her Xmas stocking. Can't find them. Luckily I'm not seeing her till Boxing Day so hopefully found before then🤞🤞🤞.

Funny story. Many years ago when I was probably about 8 I was out Christmas shopping with my mum and she asked me to carry some slippers she had brought for my grandad. When I got home I realised I didn’t have them. I didn’t say anything as I was worried about being told off.
My mum searched high and low and couldn’t understand where they’d gone. She has looked every year for 30 odd years and always mentions it even though my grandad has been gone many years now. A couple of years ago I fessed up, she couldn’t understand why I didn’t just tell her. We did laugh about it. |
