I had to put ours in the airing cupboard one year.
I remember an episode of the Royale Family when they had it floating in the bath 🤣

My son in Canada last year cooked his turkey half frozen and they didn’t die!

I always take mine out on 23rd and a yearly tradition but a new bucket from B&Q the orange one for 97p 😂😂! Then my husband always steals it for some diy job during the year! I’ll prep it tonight with butter and streaky bacon and leave to get to room temp then put in the oven in the morning 🤪

I collected mine yesterday afternoon from my daughters freezer (its in her shed in her garden so could collect it without even seeing her), wanted to cook it today, so put it in a washing up bowl in cold water, it was totally defrosted this morning

Got ours out yesterday morning left it under the stairs overnight, shoved in the fridge this morning. Just waiting for morning now to pop it in the oven.

Had this problem early yesterday when we realised that a 15lb bird needs 3 and a half days in the fridge. It's in the fridge and will just be cooked for longer. It doesn't actually matter how frozen it is as long as you cook it until it all gets hot enough. A meat thermometer is a big help.
