Mobile Christmas Eve - storing gifts

How do you all do it?
Where do you store all your presents before hand?
I put mum mums presents etc under the tree.
Santas gifts are going to be huge this year. I had a brain wave to wrap all the small presents (the older they get the smaller the gift is in size) in massive boxes. It was a good idea as their piles won’t look tiny compared to their 6 year old brothers.
I have them sorted at my friends house and need to collect them lunch time on Christmas Eve.
My husband will take the children out for lunch while I bring everything home. We usually put them in the snug but that room is now my middle sons gaming room. So I have nowhere. If I say they can’t go in there they will twig on!
What do you all do?

Forgot to add, my youngest asked for a cardboard box & stickers so he can make a den.
My friend has a new dining table set and the box is huge so I have wrapped that too lol
I think he will live that more than the Nintendo switch !
But where can I put it before bedtime 😳

I used to hide ours in suitcases in the cupboard under the stairs. My DS16 now has them in his room on xmas eve until its time to bring them out , he loves getting involved and feeling like "santa" sneaking the stuff out while his younger sisters sleep. I have previously kept the larger stuff locked in the shed.

That’s really sweet. My 16 year old doesn’t want to know anything!
I came home with a bag the other
day and she looked at me in shock and panic. I said ‘it’s ok it’s for mason’
She got upset and said ‘mum don’t spoil it! ’
She also won’t get involved in buddy the elf because she likes to see what he has been up to every morning too lol

Do you park your car on a driveway/garage/outside the house?
In the past we have stored presents in the boot of the car. Wouldn’t do it if the car was not in sight of the house though.

We put them in the loft or garage if you have either of them. We still keep them hidden until they’ve gone to bed and DD is 24 and DS is 20 😂

We used to store them in the garage until they had gone to bed. If not, do you have a shed and a secure garden?

That’s a good idea. We have a drive and we could close the gates.

Garage would be perfect but we converted it a good few years back into a playroom.
Loft is not suitable, no boarding etc and a mess lol
And don’t talk to me about a shed! Our shed was there when we moved in and is now slanted and the bottom of the door is rotten. You can’t move in there with all my husbands stuff & tools. He was building a new one this summer because the size and quality he wants would be very expensive but it never materialised 🤨 enough said on that matter lol 😂😂
My big boxes idea was brilliant until reality hit 😂😂
