Matching curtain and bed linen

Would you have curtains to match your bed linen?

I would but I don’t. The problem is that the bed linen fades after it’s been washed so much more than the curtains so they end up a different colour and that’s not such a good look.

We have curtains and bed linen matching.
The throw and curtains have to be dry cleaned so I take them together so no problem with one fading quicker than the other.
The duvet cover and pillow cases go in the washing machine and to be fair they don’t look like they’ve faded at all

I voted no as I have lots of bedding (love new bedding!) but I wouldn’t say it’s gross either!

I personally don’t like anything too the same though. I don’t even have matching cushions or even chairs in my living room. I like flooring to flow though if that counts!

Matching might not be for everyone (mine isn’t matching) but being “gross” seems a little strong.

Our curtains match one bedding set - but also generally (colourwise) go with our other bedding sets.

Always

I buy 2 identical bedding sets (one on the bed when the other is in the laundry and vice versa) and matching curtains.

My mum always does this so it must be have been ingrained in me from a young age

Each to their own, but I love matching sheets and curtains and won’t buy bedding unless I can buy curtains too
