Anaheim and ?
Looking to go to Anaheim next year but want a 2 centre holiday, originally thought New York and Anaheim as I wanted to see the World Trade Centre site as it was just being built when I was there last. I'm going with my 3.5 year old grandson so not sure if he would be bored with 4 nights there.
Thought about Houston to see Nasa? just can't decide really where to go. We are going next September (8th) so want 4 nights then we will fly to Anaheim for 10 nights. Thanks Rio |

would like to go to Vegas and go to the Grand Canyon, but not sure theres much at Vegas for his age. I did think about San Diego or Palm Springs or possibly San Francisco but not sure what will suit his age.

my grandaughter was 3 at the time, she absolutely loved it,she loved the bright lights, the dancing fountains, the white tigers at the mirage, the cheese cake factory, circus circus and the dolphin enclosure, only thing is of course you wouldnt stop at casinos or be allowed to with children, We took in turns to have a little flutter

I took my youngest at 18 mths and then 3.5 there's as much to do for kids that age as anywhere else..
Things like Secret Garden at the Mirage, Bellagio Fountains, M&Ms World, Eiffel Tower, Hersey's World, Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, If you drive there's also Cowabunga Bay & Wet & Wild (i guess public transport too but they aren't really in tourist area) . Linq High Roller big wheel (pods so not open) Some hotels have better pools for kids than others too. My kids both love Vegas next year is their 6 th time and they never get bored there. Vegas is no different to any other city, plenty to do if you look for it. Only restriction is kids can't stop on the casino floor but that's never been a issue. As for Circus Circus, well the circus acts are rubbish and so is the adventuredrome, more side shows than rides.. |

I've been to Vegas twice but just didn't think it would appeal to him. I only really want to go as a base for Grand Canyon

Try San Diego - it's only 90 minutes from Anaheim. Fantastic bay, great zoo and loads to do and the quaint little town of La Jolla (pronounced Hoya). Contact Aims on a Pm - she 'll tell you all about it - she lives there.
