Dairy Free breakfast buffet
My son is dairy intolerant, my parents like to do a breakfast buffet, which is our safest option?
Thank you |

Disney can make most things for allergies at their dining restaurants, including buffet.
I'm vegan and always ask the chef to make me some. Not sure about food outside of Disney

My daughter had a milk protein allergy that was super sensitive, from experience i wouldn’t eat anything in the buffet and ask the chefs to make you something fresh. A lot of Disney buffets especially breakfast time told us to stay away from the buffet food but let them know what we wanted and they made plates of everything we asked for. One time at chef mickeys the chef said we could eat certain things turns out it wasn’t the case and my daughter was extremely poorly so I always ask for fresh now. The main chef at 1900 Park fair actually told us to only eat what he prepared fresh for us and stay away from the buffet.

at disney buffets we have always had items made fresh and brought out for ds who can't have dairy though they do tell you which items off the buffet should be ok- I say should be as while they may be dairy free cross contamination can be an issue with buffets and if you have a serious allergy this can be a huge problem
we've had allergy mickey waffles, pancakes, eggs sausages & bacon cooked separately, rice/soy milk to drink or for cereal |

Thank you for your replies!
Thankfully my son is only intolerant it’s not an allergy but dairy does make him poorly! I’m not a huge fan of the buffet style restaurants but my parents like them... think we might give them a miss |

Garden Grill will give you a separate breakfast pan.
We had booked it on the app and linked accounts. We sat down and before we could mention our dietary requirements, our server was like “ok so we have K with no milk and L with no egg, anyone else?” That app is amazing - we had totally forgotten our mention of them. |

My son has a dairy intolerance too and we have eaten at buffet style restaurants a lot. We prefer breakfast. My son loves the allergy brownies. You will be given a booklet with everything listed and if it suitable for your allergy/intolerance. On the back is a list of items they can make for you.

Sweet tomatoes do a breakfast buffet on a sunday at some locations and the normal salads etc are out too. Safest would be disney as they are good with allergies but will be pricey.
