Few queues so far...

We’ve been here the last week and have been shocked by the lack of queues in August. Is this normal or are fewer people coming with the awful dollar rate?

Yes we found that to. We have to go 24th July next year so expecting to experience big queues for first time. 😟

Have you done FOP... whats the queue like for it? We go in 21 days. OH half is on MDE morning, noon and night trying for a FP.

Most of the american schools, plus South American schools are all starting to go back now so the number of tourists and locals reduces, thus combined with guests delaying for GE it should feel a bit quieter than than the previous month.

I would say there's a reason why Disney are opening GE at a normally queiter time.

More rain than I ever remember...we’ve been here a week and two of our days have been washed out by 1300 due to the weather. Used to the usual mid afternoon downpour but some of the rain has been constant for hours!
On the subject of queues, was at Seaworld yesterday, and that was emptier than Busch on a mid week in September...eerily quiet from my memory of last time. Longest queue for a ride was 30 mins.
