drawing down pension pot

does anyone know how this works?
I understand the basic rules but what I am not sure about is future growth.if a pot was Ł100,000 and Ł10,000 was taken out is it now just worth Ł90,000 and steadily goes down as you drawdown more or is it still managed and the Ł90,000 could increase over time again

If you draw out the funds go down but the funds are continually managed to earn more and replace some of the draw down.

I work for a public sector pension scheme and would never give advice to anyone about stuff like this on a forum as we don't know the details of your pension scheme. The best person to speak to is an IFA or if your pension is a company one, one of the administrators of the scheme.

There are so many variables depending on the scheme and there is too much money at stake to risk it.

Ask me about the Firefighters' Pension Scheme though and I am your woman!
