B&B Bournemouth

DH & I are looking to stay a few nights in Bournemouth in August. Any ideas on a high quality b&b in the centre of Bournemouth? (Within walking distance to the beach and shopping).
Thanks in advance

Hi we live in bournmeouth when you say high quality not sure if these two are too high quality there is The Royal Bath, right by the sea front and walk through gardens to town Tel: 0871 474 2755 or The Highcliffe walk down to the beach and then through gardens to town Tel: 01202 557702. Both 4 star hotels or there is a Premier Inn near The royal Bath so still close to sea and town Tel 0871 527 8124. Might give you a couple to try

Sign up for groupon as they often have deals on for Bournemouth, the hallmark comes up a lot which is okay and recently refurbished. Anything west cliff or east cliff (near centre) or central is generally in walking distance to beach and shops. There is a vast array of b and bs and hotels in Bournemouth but the hotels tend to be higher quality. I'd personally go with premier inn central as its mins from the main front sea hub and in town. Plus you know what to expect as some of the hotels are quite old and don't have things like aircon - which in August you'll hopefully need!

Funnily enough I am also looking for something here w/e of 6th September. I haven't come up with anything yet - if I do, I will pm you. I stayed in the Ramada hotel which was actually really nice and clean - they have wetroom style bathrooms. The breakfast was really lovely. They often have reasonable prices and I would recommend them. The only problem I have is that it is saying it is full when I want to go otherwise I would book it.

Thanks Floridafan. We really like cosy b&b's in this country. Found 'Marlins' so looking at that one at the moment.
