Another vegan here. We spent Christmas in Italy at the inlaws house, and 2 different types of lasagna (one lentil and mushroom, the other butternut squash). One of the best Christmas dinners I've had, but then I was never a huge fan of roast dinners anyway.

We was in Ask Italian on Saturday for a pre cinema meal. I had a vegan pasta dish and it was delicious. I’m not vegan, vegetarian or any other —-arian, I simply fancied a change and am glad I did.

I don't eat much dairy and we've been following meat free weekdays since November, so most of my meals are vegan. It has taught me that most of the taste of the meals I cook don't come from the animal products, and now I choose veggie meals over meat.

On a side - I had the new KFC Vegan burger on Saturday as we were travelling and stopped at a service station for lunch - it is really delicious I gave a bit to my OH who had a boneless banquet meal and he said mine was nicer as it wasn't so dry. I hope they extend the range as they could easily sub the 'chicken' into Rice Boxes / Twisters etc. The chips aren't technically vegan (I assume they are done in the same fryer) but that doesn't bother me.
