Renting from Hertz & moving from AKL to a villa

Hi

We're off with the in-laws in September for 2 weeks. The first week we're at AKL, then moving to a villa for the second week. THe plan is to get a hire car for the villa-stay and Hertz is coming out at half the price of Car On The Drive and Alamo, which were more convenient options.

Has anyone done something similar? I'm assuming it's just a case of the drivers getting an Uber to the Hertz rental location 15 minutes away and then picking the pre-booked car up, then on departure dropping it at MCO as agreed.

Yes, on our last trip as we were driving down to Miami. Exactly as you say it, the drivers get an uber to hire car location then off you go.
