We have both and sky, though sky will be being cancelled when we get to the end of our contact as we've not watched anything that's sky only recently and the only things on our planner are from bbc and itv and now its so easy to use I player I can't justify the cost of sky anymore.
Historically we've found Netflix better but just recently watched New Amsterdam, Hannah Harrow, Goliath, jack Ryan, and I binged the whole of One tree Hill and the OC! next on the list is this is us, homecoming and Bosch.

Amazon Prime..

Jack Ryan season 1 and 2
Cloak and Dagger 1 and 2
Treadstone
Hannah
Good Omens
Picard!
Premier League football
Tennis

Netflix lost its edge for me when it lost the Marvel shows. They were worth the subscription alone.

i have both, but i have prime video because it's bundled in with the free delivery subscription. if i didnt, i probably wouldnt bother. theres some good original stuff on there (mrs maisel) but theres far too much that shows up that you have to rent/buy. there should be an option to remove that from display (i use amazon firetv devices as my main playback units too)

saying that though, more and more stuff i want to watch isnt available on netflix either (older tv shows mostly) as a million and one other streaming services bid for content... it's potentially getting to the point where i ditch netflix too if it keeps going the way its going

Anyone advise what the difference is with Netflix and amazon prime tv?
With amazon does that include prime membership for delivery from amazon etc? Do they have the same shows etc?
Can someone else use my amazon account for streaming like Netflix can.

Thanks .
As to Netflix you can only share your account with those living at the same address. So if your mum and dad live at a different address then they should not be using your Netflix account all the time. You can use it when you are out and about though even when staying at your parents.

Amazon s the same as Netflix with regards to account sharing, same address only. Programmes are different but usually same sort though. Nothing that is available on one will be available on the other.
