Color out of space (nic cage/lovecraft) - insane new movie!

watched "colour out of space" at the weekend. WOW! what a movie. it makes "mandy" seem tame.

went in knowing nothing about it, just that it was "visually stunning" according a couple of friends who told me to watch it. so the first surprise was nic cage, the second was that it was directed by richard stanley, who did HARDWARE back in 1990. a true classic.

i won't ruin things, lets just say things get weird

to be honest, i'd watch 90 minutes of nic cage slam dunking tomatoes into a bin, so this movie really ticked all my boxes!

so i finally got round to watching "daniel isnt real" the other night. its quite harsh in places, and i didnt enjoy it nearly as much as mandy (the lack of nic cage loses it points!) but i still really enjoyed it.

to me, this is what JOKER should have been...
