Where should I request a room at Newport Bay?
Hi folks, just wondering if I book a standard room at Newport Bay, can you request a particular area and where? It appears to be huge so thinking perhaps I should ask for a central room to be near lifts, particularly with a buggy in tow. I wonder too if I added 'central, with a nice view', what are the chances of getting a lakeside facing room or would I need to pay the extra and book this to be sure? I see too that rooms with a balcony and lakeside rooms are the same price. If I booked a lakeside one, is it possible to request one with a balcony, or are these in another area?
Just wondering what other people's experiences have been with room requests. Also, should you make such requests at the time of booking or email the hotel nearer the time? Thanks Edited at 10:07 AM. |

If you book a standard room you cannot request lake side or a balcony as these come at a supplement. (well, you can request them but it's unlikely they'll be honoured).
Personally I would just request a room near the lifts as if you end up at the end of the one of the wings it's a massive trek to and from the room each day. I normally send my room requests 5 days before we arrive, i very rarely receive a response but all but one time my request has been granted. |
