Did you make the connection in 75mins? Or were you put on a later flight?

Sorry, my above post was unclear, we were originally booked via Charlotte, but changed flights for a number of reasons. So we’ve never done the connection, but my thinking was the same as yours!

(We pretty much only changed flights due to price, still going indirect but cheaper)

we did this connection from Dublin last year so we cleared customs in Dublin , we opted for the 3hour stop over as the travel agent told us the 90min may be cutting it tight with small children and if flight was delayed from Dublin... 3hours ended up being ridiculous , we ended up twiddling our thumbs at the gate with hours to spare. We are doing the 90min stopover this year clearing customs in Dublin again, as previous posters said its a very easy airport to navigate so unless immigration lines were crazy id say the stop over would be perfect.

I would never have such a short layover, have been through charlotte twice and if immigration is busy as it was both times for us we would not have had enough time to get boarded. I much prefer 3 hour layover, plenty of time to get something to eat stretch your legs and chill for a bit.
