Mobile Breakfast at Cheyenne-turn up or pre book?

Hi all, staying at Cheyenne May 20 with a free half board dining plan. I know its advised to book for dinner but do you have to book breakfast or just turn up? Whens the quietest times?

You can just turn up to breakfast. It will be in the Chuckwagon Cafe in your hotel. Occasionally when it's busy they'll provide you with a timeslot on check-in, but you can still turn up at any time during the breakfast window (7-11)

I would say always, always get there just before 7am. I don't know whether it's the same since they stopped including breakfast in the price, but it was always a zoo by 7.15

That also means you will be in plenty of time to walk down to the parks and still be there well before EMT starts.

We also have the free half board plan - staying in the Cheyenne in Jan - is breakfast in the hotel or in a specific quick service in the park?

No, they have quite rightly done away with that dreadful system.

If you have a dining plan (paid or free) you get full buffet breakfast at your hotel.

If you don’t, and don’t want to pay for it (and it is very expensive IMO) there are lots of other options you can buy. Starbuck, Mac’s, Earl of Sandwich, New York Style Sandwiches...

Or there is the character breakfast which you can upgrade to.

Just been looking at web again and for breakfast in chuck wagon it says to reserve a place when you book in. Is that really necessary do you think? Dont want to risk .missing breakfast but dont particularly like being tied in to a time either.

we were always asked for our preferred, or given, a timeslot for breakfast at the onsite hotels (usually when we were checking in). You don't have to go at those designated times though, you can go when you like in the restaurant's breakfast opening hours.
