Well I've watched it on I player this afternoon and really enjoyed it, I don't like period dramas usually but I do love this classic and I loved this first episode of this version, looking forward to more.

Ds has been set homework over christmas to watch it. Watched the muppets tonight instead! We will watch it, but only because he has too, i agree with the poster who commented about bbc and re-dos... i was very disappointed with war of the worlds

I was really looking forward to this. Will not be watching again. Gave up after 40 minutes. For a start I couldn't hear what they were saying. Really disliked it.

I’m not sure what I think, but if truth be told I’m only really watching it because some of it was filmed in my home town (Warwick). And we drove past where they were filming and saw the snowy street etc.
