I booked through DFCH (link at top of page) and paid £20 for additional cover:

Windscreen
o Covers physical damage to the windscreen and windows.
 Tyres
o Covers damage to tyres as a result of puncture(s).
 Towing
o Cover up to a maximum of £200 for the costs related to the towing of the rental vehicle.
 Undercarriage
o Cover up to a maximum of £500 for the costs related to under carriage damage.
 Vehicle Lock-Out
o Cover for up to a maximum of £150 for a call-out service to come and open the vehicle.
 Rental Key Replacement
o Cover for up to a maximum of £300 for replacing a lost or stolen rental vehicle key.

But does that cover you for a puncture so they deal with it as opposed to you?
