Alamo card hold

Hi

Does anyone know how much of a hold alamo will place on my card when they swipe it at Sanford. I don't have that big of a credit limit and would like to use what I have for shopping etc

Assuming you have bought a good insurance package, I have never had anything held on my card.

No hold just swiped to pay for extras ie Sunpass,Upgrades,fuel or Fines,to pay at the end of your rental.

I also wondered this as Alamo UK told me it's $200 if booked in advance or $400 on the day, but then people say they've had nothing taken off!
