Discovery Cove with a toddler

Hi all, discovery cove isn't something we have ever even considered before but our 6 year old has decided he would love to swim with a dolphin.

There's 2 of us then our 6 year old and our will be 18 month old daughter so I'm not even sure if it's possible, I know she can't swim with them but wondering if we bought 3 swim packages we could take it in turns or something.

Is there much else there to do for the little ones? She is crazy about birds and I think there's an aviary of sorts?

We were thinking of buying sea world tickets seperately anyway and it seems they are included in the all inclusive package

We did the swim in 2014 leaving Evie who was aged 9 months with grandparents (who then did their own swim later on. At the end of the swim they let Evie come in with us for a family photo in front of the dolphin. I suspect they would do the same in your case to let the 4 of you combine at the end of the first pair's swim for a photo.

We enjoyed the day so much we returned for a non swim last year (Evie aged 2) and are booked in again in September when she will be almost 4.
There's a fair amount to do, the Avery is fantastic with the birds coming really close to Evie. There is also an island full of small monkeys and the otters, both of which Evie loved. The snorkelling reef, a little cold for Evie to swim in but she could look at the fishes and rays from the side. Finally there is an area where they do animal encounters, so you can meet a sloth and a couple of other animals there.

Really recommend it.

Thanks sounds great it would be perfect if we could get in for a photo but won't bank on it

I'm more than happy sitting it out whilst the wife and boy do their swim
