Citywalks in the evening with kids

We’ve been citywalks many a time in the past however, we have never really been there and eaten/drank. We went before we had kids on New Year’s Eve and had a couple of drinks but it was years ago.

This year we are spending a night at Royal Pacific so were thinking of making the most of it by going citywalks and having a few beers/wines as we never really have more than one due to driving.

Where would people recommend for us and our two girls (7&5)? Obviously not planning on clubbing it or getting drunk, just a nice chilled meal and few drinks.

I love Margaritaville. Great party atmosphere with balloon modellers, people on stilts, songs, dancing - just great fun. The "volcano" erupts with tequila every so often. Good atmosphere.
Other venues (mainly bars) will not allow children in after 9p.m.

We have only ever eaten at Hard Rock, not very chilled but some good music and the food isn't bad. You can always ask for a guided tour of all the stuff on show. It's called the vibe tour just as the server.

We loved the duelling pianos at Pat O'Briens. I forget the times but there is a window of an hour or two when kids are still allowed in and the pianos players are there.
