Virgin Alamo Sun Pass

So I have booked car hire with Virgin Alamo and have filled out the prebooking info to allow me to go direct to the garage. I don't remember being offered the option for paying for sun pass tolls. I read somewhere that you can just pass through the sun pass toll to instigate the facility? Is this true? and will I just be charged for the tolls up to a maximum? Help would be appreciated.

Yes - its in all the Alamo cars (from MCO anyway) and is automatically used if you pass through the e-toll lanes. There's a daily fee (charged only for the days you pay tolls) plus the cost of the tolls. If you want reassurance you can ask the guy at the hut on the way out of the carpark at pickup.

YOu are only charged the daioly fee on the days you actually use the toll roads, so if out of 14 days you only used them twice you would be charged the daily rate X 2 plus the toll fees
