Flights Booked, Accomodation Booked. Now for Car Hire

Well i have finally decided and booked my flights. £770 pp with Thomas Cook which saved me £1500 on Thomson and Virgin Flights. Now all i need to do is book car hire.

Who would you all say is the best people to book for and do you have to pay for it all in advance or can you put a deposit down?

We already know who we are booking the tickets with so they'll be done shortly

We usedCar on the Drive, we love the getting driven from airport to accommodation, no getting lost! We paid, i think $100 deposit and the rest about 4-6weeks before. We got exactly the car we wanted, and you get driven back to airport too on your return journey. X

Last year we found Virgin Extras to be the cheapest for our hire car but Alamo Brits is a good place to start

You can pay now or on arrival and cancel anytime which is really handy if you come across a better deal

We've booked via usrentacar.co.uk a few times and always found them cheaper than anywhere else

Also try travel supermarket which will list all of the major brands and then compare to the other sites listed above. It varies from time of year at which you book and the time of year you want car hire for. Don't forget to book through a cashback site too and search for discount codes on the web.
