Mobile Knee cartilage torn

About 4 weeks ago I ‘popped’ my knee and have torn cartilage! Obviously walking and queuing needs to be kept to minimum! I travel in 5 weeks, will I be able to get DAS? Has anyone else had this problem?

I did the same 8 weeks before a trip - it made things slow down a bit.

We did not do everything at a pace, so did not do things "as we used to", it did not seem the same holiday really, was a bit of a drag for the kids, had to send them off to do rides whilst I walked round slowly. I did not get a DAS, did not really think of it as an option really. Probably should have because I over-did the walking and the queuing, it got me down really which is not what a holiday to Disney should be!

(I do need to add - I was quite overweight, so was carrying too much for my knees anyhow.)

I think it will depend on the CM you talk to at guest services, given the condition you mention they may tell you that DAS is applicable or they may tell you to utilise a wheelchair or ECV which would mean you are able to sit but wait in the normal queue.
My advice would be to go straight to guest services and speak to them.
