Looking through the information for next years race I found this link to certificates. They don't seem to be up yet though

You can train for this! Last year at this time I wasn't running at all. Started running in December and worked my way up to a 10K, then a half marathon, then went for broke last weekend and did the 5K 10K and half marathon!

The medals are a good motivator

I agree, I did the 10K Darkside earlier this year. The problem is every time I get to that level or close I get sick and end up back at the beginning of my fitness journey. Oh well, once more into the breach.
