Go. Make your own mind up.

No sense being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.

If you are talking WDW and DRP then maybe, but I dont think you can compare Orlando and DRP.
One (Orlando) has much much more than just Disney, DRP is two linked theme parks with hotels, not at all the same thing.

to be fair though, to some orlando is WDW, i know we could easily fly into MCO, use the ME to the hotel and then after 15 days return back on the ME

we normally visit seaworld and a mall ( or 2 ) but with our disappointment of seaworld this year we will give it a miss next time, a trip to the mall is just that, its shopping

we like feeling of disney, the polite staff who most of the time nothing is too much trouble to help you, when we leave disney, its apparent how high they set the bar

If comparing like for like than you should just compare DLP - MK & DHS.

DLP is better than MK. It has better rides, restaurants and better theming.

DHS & WDS both could be MUCH better parks and DHS is the slightly better one. But both parks need something "more". WDS is losing its hollywood feel and becoming to cartoony.

Hiya,
Im going back soon, havent been since 2005, when I was pregnant and even though I couldnt go on all the thrill rides, its still one of the best holidays Ive had! Loved the attention to detail and totally felt the magic. Best bit for parents I think is seeing how the kids react to it! Was totally magical. I have never been to WDW - dont know if id have a different opinion if I had. Only gripe is, like others, the cost of food. Pretty expensive but hey, I was craving steak so what can you do! and it was lovely x
