I picked up a peanut butter twix from a petrol station. It was great.

The individual pots of cereal are handy, although it's probably better value getting an actual box full! We love Ruffles and TGI Friday's potato skins as snacks. Going to be trying the sugar cookies from Walmart this year - they look great. Things like mac and cheese and ramen noodles would probably be good for microwaving

When we first started going (as a couple) Domino’s did a large pizza to collect for $7, sadly by the time we went in 2012 this offer had stopped, but you never know there might just be a great pizza takeaway deal near you.

Last year we got fried chicken from Publix for about $8, I think it was 8 or 10 pieces, and you can always have salad with that (we had chips)

When I used to go away with my mum, we liked to have a salad with nachos (Tostito’s,) mild tomato salsa and then sprinkled with cheese on top. We also enjoyed buying fresh shrimp (can’t eat them now 😭😭😭 ) and having salad with that.

I guess have a think about what you would do if your hob and oven broke at home, and decide what you would eat that didn’t involve going out.

We love the cinnamon toast... yum...
We mainly eat breakfast in our apartment before we head out.

Oreos of course! They taste better in the states!
Also chip and dip - Tostitos are the best
