Disney after hours

So I’m doing a magic kingdom after hours even next month (yay I can now say next month)
Does anyone know if the Disney busses back to the hotel still run after the event?

Yes they do, they will generally run for 1 hour after.

The Disney buses from the parks back to the Disney resorts run until pretty late - I have in the past taken a bus from Magic Kingdom to Pop after 3am (EMH was 1-3am). If it's late enough, there will be CMs stationed at the walkway to the bus stops who will ask where you're heading to, and then direct you to the appropriate bus stop to get a bus back to your resort. On a few occasions I have had the experience of being directed to one of the waiting buses, getting onto the bus, the CM driver asking me which resort I was going to, then driving off with me being the only passenger on the bus.

I've also asked one of the driver CMs before (on one of those late late night trips back to resort) what time the buses run until - was told that they continue running "until the park is clear", and that after he dropped me off he would return to MK if there were still guests there needing to get back to their Disney resort.

Anyway, the whole gist of this is that you should have no issue getting a Disney bus back to your Disney resort from MK after doing the After Hours event!
