Suncream - how much do you take?

I'm starting to wonder if it's better to buy it out there now!

took 1 tin of 50 and 1x 30, purchased 2 while there from Walmart and left a full tin in the villa.

I usually take three bottles of factor 50 and buy more when there. Usually between four or five of us we use a bottle every four days. I have also bought extra sunscreen for the scalp this year.

We buy it out there, why waste luggage allowance on it! We tend to buy 2 bottles of factor 15 and that lasts for a fortnight (2 adults and 2 children)

We bring one bottle of factor 50, two people, two weeks. We would not go through the whole bottle, it would last two trips probably. I burn very easily and am very careful with my application, DH does not burn and he is a bit less careful, he takes most care around his neck. We rarely go to pool or waterpark, I guess we would use more there.

I always buy it out there, I've never used more than half a bottle on one trip.
And that's at least 2/3 of us using the same one.

We use the fast spray stuff which I don’t think lasts anywhere near as well as cream but is easy and we are lazy. We take 2 cans of factor 50 each and use it all.

Hiya PK, we've never taken sunscreen from the UK, and whilst I appreciate it may not be easy for some to visit Dollar Tree/Walmart, we prefer not to lug UK bought sunscreen in our single cabin sized case.

Used to buy EAD SPF 50 from Dollar Tree, our vast supply ended last winter, afore we left I noticed EAD was no longer on their shelves. THIS is the Dollar Tree sunscreen we'll purchase in Nov, Dollar Tree also have kids sunscreen and spray. THIS is the Walmart Equate that came out as number one against other brand named sunscreen, many rate Equate as the best sunblock on the US market for quality/value for money.

In Portugal last year we used 2 full bottles between 5 of us in a week. I'm planning to take 5 bottles for our 3 weeks in Florida next year and we'll buy more out there if needed.
